No one can respect you without self respect.
This can be argued like any other thing.
However, with self respect you can model what
Being respected means for you.
When I say, “yes mam,” it’s meant as a sign of respect. Yet I often get please don’t call me mam directed back to me. Why? Mam does not feel respectful to that person. Respect is not a one size fits all action. Each person values respect in different ways. Each individual considers respect in their own unique receipt.
